A World in Every Can
Doodle is a hemp-derived cannabis beverage with aluminum cans illustrated by hand, flavor by flavor.
For the launch we gave that linework depth and motion: 3D-modeled cans, the original drawings animated in 2D, and four 15-second films — one per flavor — where the cans float over an original score and a sound design pulled straight from each illustration. The starting point was the packaging. Each Doodle can isn't just a label — it's a small illustrated world with a character that sets the tone of the flavor. We made each character the center of its own film. From there the hand-drawn illustrations come alive in 2D, and the 3D can drifts in and floats. The float is the literal translation of the three sensations the brand wants to deliver: lightness, refreshment, and the feeling of getting "high." Sound design closes the concept.
Product goals
and objectives
A 15-second film holding flat 2D-animated illustrations, solid-color 2D pattern backgrounds, and a photoreal 3D can at once — reading as one piece, not three techniques glued together. The differentiation within a family: four flavors feeling unmistakably like one brand yet instantly distinct. We solved it through the flavor-specific patterned opening and a sound design built from each illustration. Saying "lightness, freshness and high" in 15 seconds, with no voiceover. The floating can and the sound that places each world say everything needed, without a word to spare.
